Our hospital stay was nice and relatively uneventful. Since Dakota was delivered before the GBS antibiotics had 4 hours to be completely effective, they had to monitor her for a full 48 hours before releasing us to make sure she didn't have an infection.
This is the first time for Big Brother Mason to meet his little sister...he was SMITTEN!
Aunt Mary and cousin Sophie came in town to meet Miss DK too!
And I think this photo is hilarious because as she's holding both toddlers, Mason lurches forward to jump in the infant bed with his sister {or as he says, "MY Baby"}.
My sweet friend Leah also came to visit & meet Dakota Kate!

Daddy loves his little girl! The 1st night she was fussy and I handed her over to him and she was quickly calmed...they snuggled for 3 hours until she woke for her feeding. *sigh*
Time to go home-Daddy wore pink in honor of the occasion!
I wore black, not for mourning but to try and hide the belly bump-yikes!
