Summer means:

Ice Cream
Playdates
Playing OUTSIDE!
Trips to McWane
{when it's too hot outside}
Daddy's Birthday!
Fun Music
{yes, my kid's the dancing one down front!}
We love Summertime!

Put Me In the ZOO!

We had a get-together at the Zoo with some of our toddler friends and it was a great time for Mason and I to have a Mommy-Son Date while Daddy watched Dakota Kate at home.
This was only our 2nd trip to the Zoo but I was happy to see the renovations and newly constructed area surrounding the Africa exhibit.
I think Mason would have preferred to be able to run around the place, but I strapped him in for good measure.
He did enjoy getting down around the petting area, but it was too bad the kangaroo pen wasn't open for lounging with the marsupials.
We had a great time though and we're so blessed to have friends. Mason thrives on social situations and it's a treat for him to get out of the house too {and not be stuck in a house with Mommy and the Baby all day!}.

Green Day

Pinch me...I didn't wear GREEN, but this little dude did!
We had a fun lunchtime playdate with Mrs Leah and Carson at Baha Burgers. And then afterwards it was time to promptly come home as both boys get sleepy/take naps/get grumpy/induce headaches/heighten misbehavior after lunchtime.

But silly, silly boys they are-wish I'd taken my camera because Leah and Carson were both decked out in green too.

Mason even decided to wear green during bathtime today...
Check out the Walrus!

Mason's Valentine's Cards for his buddies at church...These were from Tiny Prints...And these we won from a blog giveaway on The Johnson's {HERE} from the Lily Pad Boutique {HERE}
Mason checking out his personalized Valentine's Day card {also from Tiny Prints}
He looked so proud!
We actually went to the Pediatrician first {updates to come} and then met up with Carson and Leah for a park playdate.

What fun!
I'd say it was a lovely Valentine's Day...
And here's the card Mason made for Daddy...

Our Wednesday

I love my little monkey!
His mommy should have strapped him in...because as she took the photo, he lunged forward to pose with this goofy grin.And then we headed to the neighbor's for a "Pool Party"
Mason completely digs the water play...
I crack up at his little physique, he has some serious muscle potential...I may put him at the benchpress before he turns two- ha! What a studly toddler!

All the Single Ladies

Check out cousin Sophia Grace!
She's such a gorgeous little girl, growing by leaps and bounds!
We were super excited to have them in town on Wednesday and Thursday.
Mason LOVES his cousin.
They're so sweet together...Baby Sophie loves her cousin too!
Wednesday night, we were invited to a special get-together dinner at Aunt Mary's friend's home. Mason was stoked to get to see all the ladies...and Miss Coco {below}.
Could these girls be any prettier?
Of course Mason enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful women.
He stole a few kisses too...
What a fun night-thank you Miss Sarah {she's the pretty blond on the left} we had a blast!

Busy Bees

Whew, it's been crazy fun-filled week! On Tuesday, Mason went to his first movie:
He enjoyed about 45 minutes of it and then he wanted to get down to boogie around. *sigh* At least we were able to catch half of "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs".Then that evening we took a trip to visit Mr. Charles Edward Cheese.
Mason was mostly interested in the lights and buttons everywhere...even if it was just the token slot. Think he'd like Vegas?
We took our photo sketch. Mason enjoys the spotlight anytime he can catch it.
And since this was a birthday party for Uncle Batman's friends, Mason did a good job of graciously visiting every party goer to say "Hello"...even during an intense video match. He's just good like that.
Does anyone have a Quarter?
Whee!
He's learning gaming early on.
Just too bad he didn't really enjoy Chuck E. I can't blame him though. I don't much care for the oversized rodents either.
What a Tuesday!
