Today was my fourth prenatal Dr. visit. The baby's heartbeat was instantly heard...no having to roll around for the heartbeat, it was strong and loud.
And talk about God's timing...
Here are some blessings of today:
- Prenatal visit yielded healthy results
- Dr. was in a great mood and very jovial
- Mrs. Vetzel just "happened" to be in town (she's from Marion- 80 miles away) to see her heart doctor...at the same exact hospital...with a morning appointment, only 1.5 hrs after mine (too cool!) so we were able to meet one another in-between and she bought me this darling baby toy (the cow has a freezable insert to help soothe teething babies). It was such a sweet gesture as her husband, my former mentor and senior partner at my previous employer, is a dairy farmer and has a love of cows.
- Mrs. V and I also discovered that we have the same OB/GYN! That's no coincidence either!
- Then as I said my "Goodbye"s to Mrs. V and her friend Joyce, I walked down the hall and saw 3 ministers from my church, including the one who read my statement and prayed over me (and I had just recently confessed/shared my pregnancy 3 days before). Pretty cool timing too!
So lots of happy people to see: my Doc; Mrs. V and her friend Joyce; my 3 ministers Dub, Gary, and Charlie. And that made me happy. It also made me happy to browse through the baby catalogs (Restoration Hardware's new baby line in particular) and inspired me to work on some mock logos for Baby (see below posts).
It's just been a very HAPPY DAY!
